Shoulder Epaulets: Boy Scouts wear red shoulder loops. Varsity Scouts wear blaze colored loops.
Right Sleeve: From top to bottom the order of insignia is the U.S. flag, patrol emblem, Baden-Powell patrol star (if present), quality unit strip (only if earned for this year), and musician badge (if in band or drum corps).
Left Sleeve: Council patches, unit numeral, and badge of office are worn as shown with all insignia touching each other. The badge of office is centered below the unit numeral. If the unit qualifies for the veteran unit bar (25, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, or 80 years), it is positioned above the troop numeral. The den chief cord is worn over the left shoulder and under the epaulet. |

Right Pocket: The Order of the Arrow Lodge Insignia is worn on the pocket flap. Flap must be buttoned. One temporary insignia may be worn centered on the pocket. Recruiter strip is placed directly below the pocket. Centered above the BSA strip the Interpreter strip may be worn. Above that goes the venture strip and name tag. One Jamboree insignia can be worn above the name tag.
Left Pocket: Service stars are worn directly above the pocket. If a medal or embroidered knot for youth members is worn, the service stars are raised above them. Square knots are centered above the pocket in rows of three. No more than five medals may be worn. These should be centered. Badges of rank are centered on the pocket and above the Arrow of Light award. The World Crest is worn centered over the left pocket. |
